Description

Wyeast 1028 London Ale

A rich mineral profile that is bold and crisp with some fruitiness. Often used for higher gravity ales and when a high level of attenuation is desired.

Flocculation: Low-Medium
Attenuation: 73-77
Temperature Range: 60-72
ABV: 11 %

During transport, the yeast package may swell due to a residual amount of nutrient solution, as the yeast ferments to a small extent and produces Co2.
The swelling of the package is NOT a sign of spoilage, but may occur due to production, provided the yeast has not yet exceeded the best before date.
Some yeast strains are more susceptible to this than others.

This yeast is suitable for following beer-styles:
