Bierhefe
Beim Bier brauen ist die richtige Bierhefe entscheidend, denn sie gibt Ihrem Bier den Charakter. Für ein gutes Lagerbier, benötigen Sie eine untergärige Bierhefe. Am liebsten arbeiten untergärige Hefen in einem Temperaturbereich zwischen 8°C und 16 °C. Alehefen, also obergärige Bierhefen fühlen sich hingegen bei wärmeren Temperaturen zwischen 16 °C bis 24 °C wohl. Der Gärprozess kann je nach Hefestamm und Temperatur zwischen 6-8 Tage dauern.
