Description

Philly Sour produces not only ethanol but also some lactic acid in simple fermentation steps. This yeast is therefore a good choice for innovative, sessionable sour beers that boast a refreshing acidity and notes of stone fruit.

Due to the high final degree of fermentation and good flocculation, Wildbrew Philly Sour is suitable for the following beers:

Berliner Weisse
Gose
American Lambic Style
American Wild Ales

Due to its hop tolerance, this yeast is also very suitable for Sour IPAs.

Recommended fermentation temperature: 20 - 25 °C
