LalBrew® Farmhouse Hybrid Saison Dry Yeast 11 g

LalBrew Farmhouse dry yeast is used for the production of Saison and Farmhouse beers.
The yeast was developed under the most advanced breeding technology by "Renaissance Yeast" in Vancouver, Canada. Renaissance Yeast's research team uses a classical and non-GMO method to remove the STA1 gene responsible for the diastatic activity of saison yeast. In addition, the University of California's patented technology ensures that the yeast strain does not produce sulfur-containing O-flavors. Thus, the aroma characteristics of the yeast are enhanced.

Aroma: clove, pepper and fruit notes
Apparent final fermentation degree: High
Fermentation temperature: 20 - 30 °C (68 - 86 °F)
Flocculation: Low
Alcohol Tolerance: 13% ABV

Unlike traditional Saison strains, Farmhouse yeast lacks the STA-1 gene, therefore dextrins are not metabolized and there is no risk of over-carbonation due to dextrins.

Storage:
Please store the yeast in a dry place at about 4 °C. After opening the yeast should be closed again airtight and should be consumed within 3 days.
