The Ella variety is known for its complex aroma, which is characterized by spicy, resinous and fruity notes. When hopped, the grapefruit aroma of this hop comes into its own. This Australian variety complements well with Galaxy and Vic Secret to produce a wide range of flavor profiles in beers, from fruity and tropical to spicy and aromatic, especially in Pale Ales and IPAs.
