The vinometer is used for approximate (+ -1% vol) alcohol determination in fermented wine.
The readings range is from 0 - 25% vol.
It determines the alcohol content in fermented wines and wine-like beverages with low residual sugar content.
The recommended measuring temperature is 20 ° C
Fill the liquid in the funnel of the vinometer and close the small opening (capillary tube) with the index finger to turn over / tilt the vinometer so that the excess liquid can run out.
Hold the vinometer with the funnel down and take the index finger of the capillary tube to then read off the alcohol content on the scale.
If the wine is not clear and completely fermented, the ad is falsified!
For wines / sparkling wines with high residual sugar content, the accuracy drops!
