Monroe 100 g pellets TYPE 90

This hop variety can be used as an aroma hop.

The new hop variety Monroe is as extravagant as its namesake. With an alpha content of only 2.5% and an oil content of 0.95 ml/100g, Monroe initially presents itself as rather mild and gentle. If you then let the hop variety loose on a beer, it shows its true colors: like Marilyn Monroe, who is also well remembered in a red dress, the hop variety also shows itself in a red (aroma) robe. On the nose, there are nice raspberry notes complemented with orange syrup, and on the palate, there is also the sweet taste of summer and cherries.

Monroe is a hop originally grown in Germany, developed from the US wild hop line, but now grown in the UK.

Alpha acidity varies depending on the crop year.

Predominantly berry character: red currant, strawberry, plum and cherry. Fruity with passion fruit flavor.
