The hop variety Chinook comes from the USA and was released in 1985 as a high-alpha variety. Chinook comes from the English Goldings family and has a high bitter value and mild aroma.

The alpha acid varies depending on the harvest year.

Herbal, almost smoky character of tarragon, juniper, basil and lavender, encompassed by a balanced citrus cloud.
