Kefir Starter for 1 Liter Milk

This is an authentic Greek Yogurt Starter from heritage. Each pack contains a loose powder blend of the two strains required to make the perfect Greek Yogurt - Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus - in perfect proportions.

The Greek Yogurt Starter produces Greek Yogurt that tastes just as good as Bulgarian yogurt, only slightly milder, not as acidic, slightly creamier, and slightly thicker than it. Greek yogurt is very similar to Bulgarian, just less acidic and thicker, and this is exactly the yogurt this starter will make for you. It is a live active bacteria yogurt starter, meaning you can reuse the yogurt from your previous batch to culture the new batch for as long as you want.

The starter contains lactic acid cultures isolated from natural sources in ecologically protected areas in Bulgaria. It is completely natural and organic, without preservatives, additives, artificial colors, or flavors. It contains no GMO ingredients and is free from soy and gluten. Halal. Kosher.
