The check valve, also known as a backflow preventer, ensures that gases or liquids only flow in one direction and cannot flow back. Check valves open automatically as soon as a liquid or gas flows. As soon as the direction of flow changes, the valve closes.

This check valve is ideal for filling kegs, transferring from keg to keg or transferring fermentation containers into kegs. The valve can easily be attached to the gas outlet of the keg. When the keg is full, the valve prevents further liquid from escaping from the gas outlet.

The quick coupling is provided on each end or hose connection side of the two valves with an outer diameter (OD) of 8 mm (5/16 "). The opening pressure is 0.07 bar (corresponds to 1 psi). The valve is for liquids such as water , Soft drinks, beer or gas. The springs are made of stainless steel and have high-quality ethylene-propylene-rubber seals. No clamps are necessary. It is recommended that the hose be cut straight and not at an angle to ensure that the line is completely sealed To remove the fitting, simply press the collet in and the hose can be removed. The push-in fitting is suitable for use up to 6.8 bar (corresponds to 100 psi).
