The new microSikaru brewing controller V3 is a consequent further development of the microSikaru brewery control system for private small hobby brakes (20-80l).
The compact control allows certain cooking plates to be remotely controlled via a 230V radio socket and to switch according to the temperature value measured via the temperature sensor. Up to 3600W can be switched with the corresponding 230V radio inter- face socket and thus the manual hot plate, which is popular with hobby brewers, for example.
With the help of the free mikroSikaru Braustee application for Android mobile devices, you can create comfort recipes. It is also possible to use older mobile phones with Android 2.2. In the application, up to 16 freely programmable brewing stages are available, which can be used for mashing as well as for different hop additions during cooking. After each step, a confirmation can be waited for, and in addition, this can be signaled by a Brauruf. If a recipe is created, this can be stored for later use or reuse.
After the brewing process has started, the application shows the brewing step. In addition, a Brauprotokoll is created, which can be loaded in a spreadsheet program.
Should the Bluetooth connection between brewing control and mobile device break off, the brewing control autonomously further works. Even in the case of a power loss of the brewing control, the brewing is continued from the last state as soon as the power supply is again present.
The temperature control takes place via a gradient feedback two-point control. In addition, a pulse-width modulation can be set so that the temperature rise of the heating source can be taken into account. A PID control is also available for experts.
