WLP518 Opshaug Kveik Ale Yeast

The Kveik strain is isolated from a mixed culture of a brewery in Norway. This variety was originally used in the 1990s to brew beers in cologne style. It fermentes very cleanly and the fermentation is at a temerature of op to 33°C in 48 to 50 hours.

Attenuation: 65 - 70 %
Flocculation: medium
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 65°F
Alcohol Tolerance: low to medium

Use for 20 liters:

up to 12 °Plato: 1 packing
between 12,5 - 16,5 °Plato: 2 packs
Above 16 °Plato: 3 packs
