WLP029 German Ale/Kölsch

From a small brewpub in Cologne, Germany, this yeast works great in Kölsch and Alt style beers. Good for light beers like blond and honey. Accentuates hop flavors, similar to WLP001. The slight sulfur produced during fermentation will disappear with age and leave a super clean, lager like ale. Does not ferment well less than 62°F, or 16°C, unless during active fermentation

Use for 20 liters:

up to 12 °Plato: 1 packing
between 12,5 - 16,5 °Plato: 2 packs
Above 16 °Plato: 3 packs

Attenuation: 72-78%
Flocculation: Medium
Optimum Ferment Temp.: 65-69°F, 18-20°C
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium
