WLP008 East Coast Ale - PurePitch® Next Generation

This liquid yeast can be used for many classic style American beers, but it has become famous for use in East Caost IPAs. Like WLP001, it produces a more neutral character, but with less emphasis on hop bitterness, less flocculation, and little acidity.

Apparent final fermentation level: 70-75%.
Flocculation: Low - Medium
Fermentation temperature: 20- 23°C
Alcohol tolerance: Medium (5-10%)

One package of PurePitch® Next Generation contains 70 ml and has 125 billion yeast cells.

Use for 20 liters:
up to 12 °Plato: 1 pack
between 12,5 - 16,5 °Plato: 2 packs
above 16 °Plato: 3 packs

Here you can calculate the required number of yeast packs, depending on your fermentation temperature and wort quantity.
