Imperial Yeast A04 Barbarian Ale - Liquid Yeast

A04 Barbarian Ale is also known as the Conan strain (Heady Topper, The Alchemist) and is an excellent choice for Hazy IPA's.
The yeast produces stone fruit esters which are excellent when combined with citrus hops.
Likewise, the A04 Barbarian Ale provides a full, round mouthfeel for NEIPAs.

Apparent final degree of fermentation: 73% - 74
Fermentation temperature: 17 °C - 21 °C
Alcohol tolerance: 10%

Hazy IPA
American IPA
American Pale Ale

Sufficient for approximately 19 liters of wort

Usage: The yeast can be used directly. However, if you brew more than 19 liters, a wort with over 17 °P or a yeast pack that is older than 4 months, it is recommended to make a yeast starter.

Contents: 155 ml, one pack of Imperial Yeast has approx. 200 billion yeast cells.
