Malt Mix Klosterbier

In earlier times it was the monasteries that brewed beer and were powerful in this art. They often produced it during the fasting periods. For this occasion it was malt-fortified so that it served as a meal. Each monastery had its own recipes to produce its monastic beers. But all of them still kept the tendency to malt. With our malt blend monastery beer you can brew your own dark, malt beer, which is suitable for any occasion due to its sweetness.

Color: slightly darker color into reddish brown (26 EBC)
Original wort: 12 - 14 °P
Alcohol content: 5 - 6 %
Bitterness: 25 - 27 IBU
Fermentation: top fermented
Mash Water:18 liters
Sparge Water: 23 liters

3 kg Vienna malt
80 g colored malt
Aroma hops - Hallertauer Perle
