Columbus 100 g pellets TYPE 90

Columbus is, together with Tomahawk and Zeus, one of the most important high alpha varieties at present. All three have Nugget as their mother and are therefore half-sisters. An interesting aroma density characterizes this cultivar.

The alpha acid varies depending on the harvest year.

Raw hops
Columbus is reminiscent of red berries, caressed by floral, green and spicy herbal notes like curry in perfect interplay with lemongrass, orange peel and tea.

Cold extract*
Nuances of cream caramel, vanilla and marzipan enrich the spectrum in the cold extract, complemented by sweet fruits such as apricot and a woody aromatic taste of pipe tobacco.
